We create our own educational answer keys for these ECG recordings, informed by the ABIM_ECG_Complete_531_Case_Master.pdf reference and comparison of clinically similar examples. These are not official ABIM scoring keys, an exam-performance prediction, clinical advice, or independent clinician certification.
Each target objective receives its stated credit when an accepted finding is selected without a listed contradictory choice. Accepted alternatives cannot earn duplicate credit. Neutral and unscored choices neither add nor subtract points. Listed contradictions invalidate only their stated objectives. The total measures recognition of target findings, not accuracy across all 89 diagnoses. A perfect objective score does not mean every selected diagnosis is correct.
Legacy practice keys retain their original rules. New independent educational keys use equal objective credit. We do not combine these scales into an examination total. Unreleased recordings remain ungraded, not zero-scored.
Reference cases inform criteria and handling of comparable edge cases; they do not establish that a different recording has the same diagnosis or weights. Our explanations are original paraphrases. Source case and page citations support comparison, not official endorsement. Evidence, waveform binding, all-option classifications and independent AI-assisted editorial review are checked before a key is released. Unresolved operative conflicts block release.
